Waste vapor extraction
The principle of soil vapor extraction (SVE) is based on the removal of volatile organic substances from the ground environment by drawing off soil gas from suitably installed and designed extraction wells. Extracted air is drawn into decontamination equipment, in which present volatile substances are trapped and/or destroyed. For cleaning of polluted air DEKONTA has the following equipment available:
- sorption filters of different volume with active carbon filling
- catalytic incinerators with a capacity of 500 and 1,000 m3 of contaminated polluted air per hour
- biofilters
A technological device containing air-pumps, manifold pipe, electric distributions and distributing boards, demisters, equipment for monitoring of organic substance content in drawn and discharged polluted air and equipment for cleaning of polluted air, is delivered as a container unit in order to ensure rapid and easy operation.
