Noise studies
Noise pollution of protected areas caused by operation of stationary and line sources of noise has been a long-term problem in the majority of areas of the Czech Republic, especially, in the areas with a higher density of population. Estimation of the future noise pollution, including comparison with the valid noise limits, defined by the current legislation (Order No.148/2006 Coll.), and proposal of possible noise protection measures are one of the most common requirements of the health protection authorities when giving permission to new or extending of existing constructions or technologies.
