Assessment of the impact of investment plans on the environment (E.I.A.)
The valid legislation – Act No. 100/2001 Coll. – specifies investment plans and conceptions for which it is necessary to perform, prior to their implementation, assessment of their impacts on individual parts of the environment and on the health of the population. The priority objective of the assessment is identification of the nature and the level of possible risks of non-fulfillment of some of the legislatively stated criteria for protection of the environment and human health. In the case of identification of the possible occurrence of any of the mentioned risks, the further objective is a proposal for such measures which would minimise the respective risks. DEKONTA employs experts (holders of Qualification Certificates issued by the Czech Ministry of the Environment) who are able to elaborate assessments on the basis of their professional experience, or consequently, Expert Opinions according to the respective Act at a high professional level.
