Air protection
The new Act on Air Protection No.86/2002 Coll. imposes upon all operators of newly located extra large, large and medium-sized air emission sources an obligation to locate and operate these sources in compliance with the permits issued by the competent air protection authority. Necessary preconditions for obtaining these permits include, among others, the Pollutant Dispersion Study and Expert Opinion. DEKONTA is an authorised body for elaboration of Dispersion Studies for air pollutants emitted from all types of air emission sources (spot, line and surface sources). These studies focused on air pollution calculation and forecast are prepared within multi-disciplinary projects (environmental analyses, E.I.A.) or in the form of independent expert studies. The offer of services provided by DEKONTA also includes ensuring the preparation of Expert Opinions.
In the area of air protection, DEKONTA further provides complex consultations and services, including negotiation with the relevant authorities, e.g. concerning the categorisation of the air emission sources, procurement of the relevant permits for the air emission sources location and operation, preparation of annual emission reports, preparation and maintenance of the registers of emissions and air pollution sources (REZZO 1, REZZO2), annual balance of volatile organic compounds (VOC), etc.
